Trump’s a Bad Man But There is Someone Worse

I’m not one for engaging in stupid tit for tats. Certainly not online. It’s a zero sum game.
“What about this…?” “What about that…?” “If you think that is bad bad what about this then…”
It degenerates with nobody really listening to each other. Best avoided, I say. We all have better things to do. At least, I do. Most of the time. But not today, obviously.
It started with an innocuous comment.
A Trump supporter was praising the members of his cabinet. He berated the hostile media and protested their competence and smarts. (This was after when the administration released Yemen attack plans on a commercial chat app to a journalist).
I respected this guy. He has qualifications, stature, influence and the outward appearance of intelligence. He writes a lot about it.
I got reeled in. All I said was:
“Do you include RFK Jr in this fantastic cabinet?”
Thinking that was it. Point made.
“The jury is out,” he replied, and suggested he “could be great.”
I almost choked on my cup of tea.
