I Started A Podcast for Moms
After years of being afraid and full of excuses
Have you ever wanted to do something and sat on the idea for far too long?
The constant tick in your brain reminds you of the things you have yet to do. At times, you wonder if you ever will.
The thought of being a podcast host rang true to me for many years. I had the mic. I learned how to record, edit and upload episodes.
Yet, one thing stood in my way. Fear.
- I was afraid I’d suck at it and no one would listen to what I had to say.
- I was afraid my kids would scream in the background and
- I was afraid I couldn’t balance a podcast with motherhood and the rest of my life.
I left the idea for a while and focused on mom life and my coaching business. This was already proving challenging at times.
But the tick was still there. So, I decided to practice and practice more. I worked on the cover art for an endless amount of hours. It just didn’t stop.
I was aiming for perfection.
That’s my crutch.
