Looking for Signs after Grandma’s Death

She spoke to me in her own unique way

John Edward’s book “One Last Time” discusses signs from the other side. Upon losing his mother, to whom he was very close, Edwards asked for the sign of white birds. The symbol came through at his mother’s funeral on the flowers his aunt chose from her and John.

John overlooked the birds on the flowers until a relative mentioned them. Then, it dawned on him that this was the sign he wanted from his mother. Edward called the flower shop to see why the white birds were added. The employee said it must have been a mistake because the birds were generally reserved for celebrations.

Medium George Anderson said our loved ones often speak to us from the other side, but frequently the symbols are subtle and we miss them.

I decided to ask my grandma Ivy for a sign after her death from cancer in 2004.

A cancer diagnosis

Grandma died in the spring right after her 76th birthday. There’s something cruel about death in the spring when nature is being reborn. But Grandma had suffered long enough.

Mom and I stood next to her as she lay on the table at the hospital waiting to see the images of her scope. The doctor…
