It wasn’t the wars and diplomatic ties that attracted me, what makes the kings great was never my concern. The only aspect I wanted to explore was what made them special beyond being a figure of unhinged power and authority.
What made a few closer to their people than others? What made them love and care so deeply despite the luxuries and grandeur of their aura?
