We read in the history books that Alfonso VI was besieging Toledo when delegations from the Taifa kings came to pay him tribute while he was besieging their Muslim brothers!
We used to pass by these lines without a shred of doubt that they were traitors. And whenever we mentioned this in an article, lecture, or book, not a single reader or listener would question that they were indeed traitors!
And now, we have lived to see the very same scene with our own eyes: here are the rulers of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar paying tribute to the American butcher Donald Trump while he lays siege to the people of Gaza and continues to slaughter and destroy them.
