Stop Threatening Trump On Social Media
It won’t help anything
People are angry. They’re so unbelievably angry right now unless they’re right wing extremists.
It’s understandable. I’m angry, too. I regularly curse under my breath about it and sometimes want to scream into a pillow until my voice is hoarse. Because it’s absolutely infuriating living under a government that has lost all compassion and doesn’t believe in human rights.
You can tell how bad it is because of social media.
Trump’s first presidency divided people, but this one is worse than ever. Not just in America, but in the world.
We didn’t think Trump had a filter before, but he’s really let loose this presidency, saying anything that pops in his head that will piss anyone off in any country.
Any charm or diplomacy he had at all has disappeared.
I’m saying all this because I’ve seen so many people posting thinly veiled (or sometimes direct) threats about how they’d like to be violent towards Trump. And I’m not just talking about Americans, I’ve seen people in other countries posting these things. My words don’t apply to them because they likely won’t face consequences for doing so in their country.
