Mother Nature Explains It All|Make It Make Sense|Greed
How Greed Was Made
Deadly offensive greed Elongated
When everything was not yet what it is.
When survival was the gold of pure bliss.
When wealth laid dormant in a deep abyss.
When gathering to share was catharsis.
At first, Earth’s rich treasures were sacred gifts.
Shared for the good of all without cruel grifts.
Humanity’s currency had no lists.
No one took more than needed to exist.
Creating more for which any could wish,
became the seed of greed’s takeover blitz.
Reason was futile in each brain synapse.
Descending deeper in the greed gorge mist.
I made greed; not my intent, I insist.
Wealth can morph into a vault of greed lust.
The fault lies in the minds of the selfish.
Greed never writes a check to an altruist.
Defining greed took on an easy twist.
It plunges the stock of the mind’s thick bisque.
A taste so putrid it trumps vomitus.
Ironically, greed smells of filthy Musk.
This is greed: desire to speak all and listen to none.
