How I began writing

Ever since I was little I loved reading, books and stories. I’d complete multiple books in a matter of days. I loved reading fiction.

It ignited my imagination, everytime I read a line, so many possibilities unfolded infront of me. Imagining the different parallel universes and historical societies. Wars and poems, love and hatred, past and future. Everything seemed so wonderful.

“We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.” —

I wondered if I could ever write like that,so I gave it a shot. I started writing essays and short stories. But oh dear. Writing is so much dreadful and scary compared to reading. It wasn’t all that great, and I held myself upto great standards.

Sometimes I liked to write for hours and hours, and sometimes I just abandoned it. It’s a very toxic relationship as you can tell.

I joined a class in my society where a teacher taught us story writing classes, this was one of the changing moments in my life. Which I’m ever so grateful for, my father and the teacher.

My father is a really creative person too, dare I say he loves reading as much as me. Hungry for knowledge, he always likes learning new things and…
