I like funny Christmas cards, and I’ve designed quite a few. I thought I’d feature some of my favorites in this post.

You’ll notice each card has 2 or 3 possible inside greetings. Why is that?

I have a little on the Fine Art America platform where you can buy cards. The FAA site is designed in such a way that if you buy a particular card design (a single card, or packs of 10 or 25), you’re asked to specify what you want printed inside.

It’s nice if you’ve got a particular recipient in mind and you’d like to include a personal greeting, but it means extra work. I think most people like cards where the inside greeting (the punchline) is already written out.

So what I do is include several suggested inside greetings (punchlines) in the card’s Description field so buyers can pick one if they’re so inclined.
