Pakistan Targets Indian Cities, India Strikes Back Hard
Pakistan in Crisis as India Strikes Back
Pakistan reportedly fired a surface-to-surface missile aimed at a civilian area in India.
The intended target appeared to be a densely populated town not far from the border — a location with no military bases, clearly pointing to a civilian population centre.
Missile Aimed at Civilians, Not the Army
Sources from India’s Ministry of Defence confirmed that the missile was not aimed at any army installation.
Instead, the target was a local municipal area, which included homes, markets, schools, and public transport stations. Had the missile not been intercepted, the casualties could have been devastating, possibly in the hundreds.
This deliberate targeting of civilians is being seen by many Indian analysts as a violation of international law, especially the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit direct attacks on civilians during conflict.
