Iran Might Be Laughing at Trump’s $142B Saudi Arms Deal
Saudi Arabia just got played. Again.
If Saudi Arabia buys billions of dollars worth of military equipment, who should be worried? Obviously, Tehran has the most reason to be concerned first.
According to the White House, the defense agreement signed between Saudi Arabia and the US on May 13 is now the ‘. Its centerpiece is the modernization of Saudi Arabia’s , the backbone of any nation’s defense superiority in 21st century. This should make Iran’s hands and feet go numb with dread.
But the truth is that Iran has no need to panic.
Why am I saying this? Let me give you a brief historical background.
When Trump took office in 2017, his first international visit was to Saudi Arabia. And do you know what deal was signed during that visit? A !
And the deal signed just a week ago that the Trump administration is calling the biggest defense deal in history is worth a mere $142 billion, just $32 billion, or 30 percent more than the deal signed eight years ago.
But Saudi Arabia never actually received this money. And how could it? Even Ukraine hasn’t gotten that much funding since Russia…
