Indonesia’s Prez: No Need to Fear Deforestation

All eyes are on Donald Trump these days. From deporting migrants in cuffs and chains, to slamming tariff on everyone visible on the world map, to renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, to eyeing colonies in Greenland and Gaza, he’s done quite a lot in just his first weeks.
And, of course, environmentalism isn’t off his radar. Trump is a well-known climate change denier and that hasn’t changed. On his day one, out of the Paris Agreement (again).
Recently, the U.S. also refused to get on board with the declaration made by the AI Action Summit held in Paris. Why? Because the declaration calls for AI to be . Putting aside the ongoing AI race and the Americans’ naked ambition to win, one could say that Trump’s America is simply allergic to the word ‘sustainable’ and everything related.
But enough about Trump; there’s more to the world than America!
And there’s another country–another president–that is just as willing to gamble our future in favor of political and economical gains.
