Drill, Baby, Drill: What Americans Have Dumped for Trump 2.0

And what the rest of the world can learn from this

Americans have decided! They have chosen their next president and it is Donald Trump who will occupy the White House for the next 4 years starting January 20th, 2025.

Unlike 2016, this time Trump’s secured a full victory. His rival in the presidential race, Kamala Harris has also conceded. So, democratically speaking, this is the will of the American people. This is their mandate.

On social media, while MAGAs are celebrating, many people are expressing their fear of Trump 2.0. Women, diasporas and immigrants, queers, people of color, and many others are saying that they’re staring at a dark time.

However, amidst all these cries of despair, one soon-to-be victim of Trump’s second term is (in my opinion) not being talked enough. And what’s that?

The fate of our home and planet, Earth.

Now let’s not forget that Trump is many things including a climate change denier. A climate change denier that has once again secured the most powerful seat in the world.
