A Silent Plea
As if a silent plea lingers in your heart,
A whisper unspoken, yet your eyes impart.
As if the nights stretched into endless years,
Life still within me, yet breath disappears.
I know you don’t seek a guiding hand,
I’ve come only to walk where you stand.
With every meeting, a feeling so true,
As if your gaze asks something anew.
At times, while walking, I sense from afar,
A hidden glance watching like a distant star.
In a moment, centuries seem to unfold,
As if life is rushing, too fast to hold.
For hours, I lose myself thinking of you,
As if each breath is inscribed with your name too.
As if a silent plea lingers in your heart,
A whisper unspoken, yet your eyes impart.
As if the nights stretched into endless years,
Life still within me, yet breath disappears.
