“You’re average at best…”
This is what I heard in the shower as I was mentally thinking about the theme and planning for the last newsletter for 2024, and this week’s column as we start the new year.
I was recalling the things that have impacted Black women the most in 2024 and what we need to leave behind. If your memory serves you correct, this was the catch phase of the late ( but certainly not great) adoptive daddy of Black men in the Manosphere — Kevin Samuels.
This catch phase of his did what it was designed to do up until his death and beyond — humble Black women, and tread on their self-esteem. The evidence of this we saw as Black women flocked to this man’s YouTube space while he was alive and posting shit on his channel, asking him to be “rated” on how desirable they are as women.
