Take Praise with Grace
A tiny lesson in self-love
When someone tells you you’re beautiful, don’t laugh it off.
When someone says you’re captivating, don’t change the subject.
Let your first instinct not be rejection,
but reception.
Pause.
Take a breath.
Let the words sink in.
The praise, the warmth, the soft gazes — they’re not accidents.
They’re mirrors,
held up by others
who can see what you can not.
Let them remind you.
You are not too much, too less, or too complicated.
You are a presence
to be felt,
a soul to be witnessed.
And yes, you deserve praise — just for being you.
For showing up.
For breathing through hard days.
For trying, again and again.
Nothing arrogant about acknowledging your own beauty,
standing in your own light.
This world needs people who know their worth —
and still stay soft.
You are worth the world.
Walk like it.
Speak like it.
And most of all —
Live like it.
