Spring Haikus in Pink — Inspiration and Musings on This Short Form Poetry

--

Have a haiku and a cuppa!

Cherry trees over body of water.

I love haikus because
They get me to look for odd rhythms
In nature’s orderly beauty.

Never have I encountered such a short form of poetry that can make you stop in your tracks when reading it or exert your imagination to say more with fewer words.

These are simple yet sincere. I hope you find value in their midst, whether it brings back fond memories, makes you want to take up learning French again or whatever the case may be.

Soft-spoken

Cherry trees' soft words
Blossom in spring; whispers of:
"C'est la vie en rose"

Pink

A feather drizzle
Snows down from the morning sky,
Carpeting my path.
