Fabric Tissue Challenge Results
Was it a win? Would you try?
Back in July 2024, I posted about going from commercial tissues to cotton hankies.
I didn’t start right away but sharing this goal added momentum.
Then, one day, something clicked. This was about 6 months ago.
I’d had a stack of fabric tissues for ages, without ever making the jump. In November, I did it!
The perks of going for fabric handkerchieves
I’m delighted to report some cool results from the challenge:
- even when it felt a bit odd to have to explain I use fabric tissues when asked for a handkerchief, I was glad to vouch for a more environmentally-friendly option.
- I discovered other fabric tissue enthusiasts!
- I saved money and trips to the grocery store.
How to get started paper tissue-free
Get yourself two dozens of fabric tissues. One dozen works fine… until you get a cold. You get the picture.
Always keep two or three on you. Get yourself a nice pouch for them.
There’s something about getting out a nice piece of fabric when you’ve got a runny nose.
