Stop Fighting Your Cravings: This Healthy Brownie Is the Way
Comfort food can be healthy.
We all have food cravings. Nobody is a superhero and can eat clean all the time. There is always this moment in the week when you want something all chocolatey and fat and so good that it makes you feel genuinely happy. Like when you were a little kid, and you came home for a snack and ate everything you could find in the cupboards.
I am just like this. My diet is pretty clean, I eat plant-based, and refined sugar stays out of my kitchen. Yet, I am a huge chocolate fan. And I love peanut butter. As much as I love eating savory foods, I enjoy a good sweet snack from time to time.
I used to feel guilty about everything I would eat that was not considered healthy. And feeling guilty was the most unhealthy thing ever. It took me a long time, but I learned to let go. To allow me to be normal. To eat as I please. Food IS happiness.
