5 Must haves for a Successful Snow Day

Thats my mood today, the house is clean, laundry is for the most part done, and I’m having a pretty damn great day! ❤

It just feels so good to feel good, the snow has buried us for a few days and while everybody is hustling and bustling in the snow. It's always my favorite excuse to be hunkered down with the kids and making memories.

When I was younger, I remember my mom would always do a “prepare for the storm” shopping trip in case we were locked in for a few days. It’s something I’ll never forget, she would get us snacks, buy me little crafting kits to keep me busy, and we would always make a stop at family video to rent some new flicks. We’d stay up all night just watching movies, chit chatting, and hanging out. I can smell the popcorn and feel the warm energy of those special times as I write this. I feel fortunate to have had those times with her ❤
