That one place that heals your soul

Knows all your secrets

Deepest desires and

Strongest regrets

waves crashing into shore

a musical melody from nature

Soothing, yet fiercely aggressive

This lake knows everything

My handle bars have felt all the pain

But this lake knows it all

Sad, happy, or stressed

The waves soothe the mind

Speaking to nature is a complicated thing

They say be careful what you wish for

Be careful of what you speak into existence

She’s listening to your every word

Yet here I am again, pouring my heart

Sometimes you just need that spot

That one place that heals your soul

Where thoughts are absorbed and

Never revealed
