As a musician in today’s world, I’ve often asked myself: what unique value can I bring to society with my skills?

I’ve come to sense that cultural exchange — soft power — is the key. And maybe the first step I need to take beyond pure performance is to cross disciplines, to step into entrepreneurship.

Anywhere that cultural flow exists, even in subtle ways, can become the nucleus of a community or an industry.
