Hello! Story Lamp Reviews has yet another flash fiction prompt to check out. You can find the link below if you want to look at the prompt. There’s a few options to pick from, but I chose to write a story based on the provided photo.
Had the tower truly been that small? From down on the beach, it looked like a toy nestled against the mafic cliff that ran for miles along the ocean. Even the vines twisting around its top as they reached for the sun seemed to be laughing at it. Gulls preened their feathers on its ledges and fiddler crabs scurried beneath it without so much as an acknowledgement that it stood there.
Had she been the only one to ever fear the tower?
It didn’t matter. She didn’t fear it now.
