Something that I haven’t done in a while is sit down and read a physical book. Since starting law school, most of the books that I read for fun audiobooks. Now, I love audiobooks, and I think it’s wonderful that I can bring them with me on hikes, kayak rides, or listen to them while I’m gardening. Without them, I wouldn’t read as much as I do. After studying all day for law school, sitting down with a physical book and reading is torturous.

Now that my second year of law school is over and I have some more free time this summer, one of my goals is to read more physical books. And it was a pleasure to start off with something light and easy.

Dating and Dragons isn’t anywhere close to one of my favorite books, but I adored reading it just now. It felt so cozy, and it was nice going on a cute adventure with the main characters. Yes, there was drama, but it didn’t feel that tense. And the conflict never grew too big. There were some tense…
