Let's Write Acrostic Poems today.

Think of any word and jot it down on the page. Like this.

REGRET

Now let's put it longways so we can write a description on each line.

R

E

G

R

E

T

On each line, we are going to write a few words that help describe what this word, REGRET, means.

The first letter is R. So, what can we think of to describe regret starting with R? The first word to come to my mind is Remorse or remorseful, but use whatever pops into your mind.

No two of us think alike; that's the beauty of life. We help one another. We blend to make this world a beautiful place.

On the first line, I wrote:

Remorseful feeling nagging at her mind

Next, we take the letter E and continue writing a unique phrase. We do this on each line until we reach the end.

My passion is poetry. My muse is sparked by emotion & observation. The world is a giant canvas. It waits on us to paint the detail with our words. (HI writer)
