Solitude/ Social Media/Reading
Like Fairy Lights and that Moon
Reality Cloud, Dream Cafe, Catching the Ray
Today I read a poem and poetry came
Reality juxtaposed with dream
The other day, when it rained, I wished it would bring poetry
instead the thunder squalled
earth, shocked
The days I am accepting of the ocean, my room floods
my legs hang loose with sea weeds and planktons
symbiosis with air like feet growing lungs
A wet, unglossy day of low light
constant chatter of discontentment from the street
I knife through pages like words are butter equivalent
smoothening the edges rough
The crow sitting on the ledge looks electrocuted
a day without wifi is like old times
people face to face, unscreened
if I get up today , I will go out and
share my anxiety with the world
I haven’t done it in years
papers have leaned to absorb them all
