Ten Mobile Mailboxes In Lisbon
A post-industrial tale

The mailboxes move parallel and synchronized to the point of being translucent to better blend in. They approached the photographer and stopped, maintaining posture. Adega( portuguese for Cellar) moved its cover to speak — Can you take our picture, sir? The mailboxes drew their best postal fashion pose. The only one they knew, so it seems, as the photoshoot was not prolific. After a few words of gratitude and allowing their digital ID’s contact address to be shared with my persona, the AI mailboxes continued their peculiar parade.
The artwork above is part of the sequence that will be present in my next story. It will not be about surrealism.
