A Cloudy Day
February six-word photo story challenge: “Love”
Found love in serenity and calmness.
Monsoon is my favorite season. All it takes is a window, or perhaps a slide-in glass door to access a stretch of the blue sky and the hidden gems in it.
I won’t call myself a cloud watcher because I don’t look for shapes. Instead, when the day is rainy, I look for colors. From pink to reddish to dark grey, I love the clouds dancing in different clothes according to their free will.
Sometimes the sun goes behind the cloud, and sometimes the cloud moves around the bright Sun in a silly way, just like a young couple, romancing during courtship.
Now, if cloud had a gender, what would it be? I muse.
I think it will be a lady.
Like a lady, she is calm, playful, and at the same time prone to anger if provoked. Yes, be wary of her because she may growl, shout, and burst into tears when you least expect her.
She is beautiful and is pure love to me.
