Lightning wafts in the water
Wishes dart like fish
Despair’s sudden shock — survived!
Hope holds me afloat, re-birthed

Trust is my kick board
Synchronized rest and power
Bubbles blown as hymn
Downpours of gratitude’s light –
pooling, at last infinite
