A Poem To Love Again

Where does one find the wherewithal to thrust headfirst into love
Where the heart does not withdraw but flutters and spasms

When is it timely to release one’s clutch of the heart
When such organ is deliberately imprisoned in a prism of quartz

Will it ever be safe to unfurl from this entanglement
Willfully without recourse but bewildering in awe

Whosoever can sever hard logic from soft sensation
Wins the true liberty to engage love once again
