The Fireside Interview series returns in 2024, and for this first conversation with one of the publication’s many talented writers, I’m honored to welcome the wonderful

!

For those of you who don’t know Connie, I’m probably close to the truth when I say that she’s one of the most read and appreciated poets on Medium! And luckily for all of us here at Scribe, the publication is one of her favorite places to share her great poems!

I know Connie doesn’t like it when I talk about her as a role model for me and no doubt for many of us who love poetry so much, but I’m afraid it’s a reality nonetheless, and a reality I find wonderful and positive!
