Welcome to Screenwriting & Storytelling, a publication devoted to exploring the craft of storytelling.

1. What we publish

• We only want articles that relate to the art of storytelling.
• We’re looking for articles that combine an interesting idea with clear and compelling writing and that aim to add value to readers’ lives.
• We love specificity and analysis, the more detailed and varied the better, so articles must include examples.
• Submissions must respect Medium’s rules and follow Medium’s Quality Guidelines.

2. What we don’t publish

• Fiction.
• Reviews.
• Plagiarism.
• Lifeless articles written by AI.
• Grammar lessons or language studies — unless it’s part of a discussion about action description or dialogue in screenwriting.
• Pieces that ramble on. We don’t have a word count limit, but be respectful of readers’ time and deliver your point concisely.
