Independence?

Oh Humanity, Pause!

Independence?
Inhumane brutality,
Absence of empathy,
Increasing insensitivity
Hopeless de-evolution,
Is this Freedom?
Freedom of what?
Tell me when there are zero crimes for a year,
Maybe Humanity needs a ‘Pause’,
If you know what I mean!
A pause from tantrums,
A pause from mood swings,
A pause from PMS.
Tell me when the hormones regulate.
Tell me when the society reaches the post phase.
A year without crimes!
That day will be actual Independence Day!
