Your Inner Child Wants to Heal
There is an urge within you to heal
Whatever you've been through, however traumatic it may be, within you is a power that urges you to heal. No matter what you experienced, your soul sends you on a journey to fix what was once broken. That metaphor is not quite correct because it's misleading. You are not going to be fixed; you will go beyond that.
Usually, people want to return to where they think they lost track. We tend to say something like, "I need to get back in shape like I used to be." But the truth is, you are becoming a new person, different from the one you once used to be.
That's the thing with healing, too. A lot of people went through a horrible childhood and are still trying to recover. Some try to forget about it, but still, those memories persist. They used to flare up like embers you tried to snuff out, only to reignite once more.
Did you lose connection with your childhood? Are there no or very few memories left? Is there a sense of anger or hatred for one or both of your parents? Do you have a feeling of being unwanted? Do you end up in relationships that feel like a repeat of your childhood? Sometimes, you have a strange feeling of emptiness. These are signs your inner self wants to heal.
