Did you know that writing things down by hand improves memory, increases focus, and even sparks creativity? A shows stronger brain activity after writing on paper than on a tablet or smartphone. People who journal or plan on paper retain information better than those who rely solely on digital tools.
So, let’s do this today.
Take a sheet of paper or a notebook, pick up a pen/crayon/pencil, and write. You can write anything—ideas for your next story. Compose a poem. Make a to-do list. Or just enjoy some free writing.
While you are at it, why not try writing with your non-dominant hand and have fun?
If you don’t feel like writing, sketch something. Or doodle.
