How I got started

I have been interested in self-portraiture since I was a teen.

I remember seeing some .

What struck me was the artist employed an impressionistic style painting his own image in most instances compared to his other works.

Then, I saw some of .

His renderings of his visage are often more precise than his landscapes and flower arrangements.

Both artists meet in the middle in terms of their brush strokes and composition to render images of themselves.
