I Will Let Go of What Doesn’t Make Me Feel Like My Best Self
Embracing positive change for a happier and healthier me
NOTE: As a way to introduce affirmations to refresh your soul, we will begin with a once-a-week affirmation that you can use all week.
I am allowed to move past the things and people that no longer make me feel like my best self. Therefore, I will let go of what doesn’t help me be at my best.
I choose to respect myself and let go of people and things that no longer serve me because I am worth it. Maybe it’s a friend who only reaches out when they need something. Maybe it’s someone who doesn’t see or listen to me. Maybe it’s people who don’t respect my boundaries. Maybe it’s the one “health” food that isn’t necessarily healthy for me. Maybe it’s an exercise routine that causes more harm than good, even though it’s the fad now.
I choose to empower myself — to discover and live out of my best self and know that I am loved — every part of me. I will do my own work to keep myself physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy. I am gentle with myself when I fail, getting back up to keep going. I will be true to myself and live in a way that reflects my authentic self, honoring my core values and beliefs.
