How To Perk Yourself Up Instantly

We hate to wait for things, don’t we? We are in a hurry most of the time and want everything now! I respect that impatience and have something you can easily do to boost your spirits instantly.
What you need: Breath (you have to breathe anyway!)
But here, we will take energizing breaths
We’ll do this by harnessing the breath to perk yourself up, especially when you feel sluggish. This will invigorate your mind and give your energy the much-needed push, keeping you alert and refreshed. It is based on the Kundalini yoga technique called segmented breathing.
Here’s what you do.
- Inhale in four equal but distinct segments to fill the lungs.
- Then let the breath out in one long, smooth exhale to empty the lungs completely.
- Repeat three or four times.
