You’ve Been Reading Books the Wrong Way — Until Now
The way you read books might be holding you back, without you even realising it.
For years, I believed I loved books.
But what I really loved was the feeling of finishing them.
I told myself I was learning — growing even — but deep down, I was just sprinting from one insight to the next. Never slowing down long enough to let any of it sink in.
I thought reading was about volume. The more books I finished, the smarter I became.
Every new title, every new chapter — it felt like I was moving forward. But after a while, I noticed something.
Even after finishing book after book, my actions stayed the same. I was reading a lot, but living the same way.
Then one simple piece of advice made me look at reading differently:
“What if you read one chapter… and don’t move forward until you’ve lived it?”
It’s not about how much you read.
It’s about what you actually do with what you read.
