It is the second week of the trial against Google, because of its monopoly position in the field of search. The Department of Justice demands, among other things, that Google sell its web browser Chrome, because the company favors its own search engine with it.

Google and Chrome might be forced to split
On Monday April 21st a lawsuit against Google started. An American judge will decide whether the company has to sell the web browser Chrome.
The Department of Justice is suing Google, and the sale of Chrome is one of its demands. The trial is planned to end on May 9. Judge Amit Mehta will not immediately pronounce his decision, because the verdict will probably not be handed down until August.
