Investing appears straightforward: invest funds, be patient, reap rewards. However, in reality, many people tend to lose their patience. They monitor their cryptocurrency or stock ten times a day, selling at the initial drop or pursuing trends and major increases. What is the reason for that? Several reasons that explain why patience is challenging.
The excitement of swift gain
We exist in an era of immediate everything. Pizza in 10 minutes, and your groceries can also be at your doorstep in that timeframe. Investing doesn’t align with that — significant returns often take years to become apparent or materialize. However, social media alters your perspective. You witness influencers boasting about profits from Bitcoin, stocks, or e-commerce businesses that generate substantial earnings weekly. And you desire that as well. That FOMO — fear of missing out — causes you to feel restless. Does waiting seem like a loss?
