Last week, Gemini just launched its Gemini Flash (image editing) model, which was so good that people started comparing it to Photoshop. Technically, it’s not, but what it was able to create in seconds surprised me. Sometimes, even someone who is an expert in Photoshop might not be able to do that in hours. It may sound like an exaggeration, but once you see the third example in this article, you’ll get what I mean. Also, its 3D reconstruction ability was extremely good, something that Photoshop simply cannot do.
But now, it has competition. Grok’s new AI image editing feature just launched and went viral after Elon Musk posted about it on X. Surprisingly, it was really good in some aspects compared to Gemini Flash but also fell short in others. However, it all depends on the complexity and type of image editing. Either way, it’s something interesting and useful, so let’s take a look at the comparison results.
