Don’t Swim in that River
It is infested with crocodiles
I say please don’t swim in that river.
I swear you won’t make it.
It is full of reptiles.
And other deadly animals.
They swim faster than you
please don’t try.
No matter how much you crave.
Please don’t swim.
Worst of all naked.
It is bursting with life, I know.
And lovely fishes.
Don’t exchange touches?
That’s when you go wrong.
It is unsafe.
The scars will never go.
The bites will hurt to the core.
And you will scratch out of control.
Will you even survive?
I don’t even know.
Don’t swim. Please don’t.
The water is turquoise.
And the bubbles of choice.
But give it a wide bath.
John swam in the trap.
His bone snapped.
And he too lived to regret.
