Beware of scammers on medium.

Hey everyone I just wanted to share an incident which happened this morning.

Dan foster is a genuine author with almost 66.7k followers.

I read his article and dropped a comment on that. Today I got a reply from the same name, and the same profile pic on my comment that — thanks for reading. I want to share interesting information with my medium members, along with a WhatsApp number.

I almost saved that number as I thought it was Dan who replied to my comment.

Before sending a WhatsApp message on that number, I just got an alarming thought in my mind.

And I thought that — Dan has 66.7k followers, if he really wanted to share information with his medium members,then he could have easily posted an article and shared that information , rather than individually commenting people .

I went back to the comment section and opened that account and I found it has 0 followers with no article posted yet..
