In Oxford, England, on the day of Galileo’s death, my life began.
Earning multiple awards, including the highest for a US civilian.

“Properties of Expanding Universes” was my doctoral thesis name,
But “A Brief History of Time” was the book bringing the most fame.

ALS was diagnosed at 21 years of age, becoming a lifetime battle to face,
Yet surviving more than 50 years longer, defying the odds with grace.

A TV topic of interest, “The Theory of Everything,” tells my life story clearly.
