Tired of Sounding Like AI

I never imagined I’d write something like this. But here I am writing not as an intern, not as a content writer, but as a human being who’s simply tired and emotionally drained.

On March 10, I joined a content writing internship through Internshala. It was supposed to be a stepping stone in my writing journey.

I won’t mention the company’s name out of respect, but they offer digital marketing services and assigned me to write content for one of their clients’ service pages.

As a passionate writer, I took it seriously. I poured my thoughts, time, and effort into creating content that I believed reflected what they were looking for.

When I submitted the first draft, they told me there were several grammatical mistakes, but the spelling and word usage were correct only one thing that was and that I didn’t use Grammarly they were using Grammarly extension.

Honestly, I usually avoid Grammarly because I feel it makes my writing sound too mechanical, like it’s been scrubbed of all soul and emotion. But I wanted to be cooperative, so I gave in. I used Grammarly. I followed every suggestion — even the ones that twisted the tone of my sentences, even the ones that made me feel like I was…
