Writing Through the Pain

Some mornings, I wake up with pain in my fingers or a dull ache in my back. Living with Multiple Sclerosis isn’t easy. Some days, it downright sucks. But no matter how I feel, I keep showing up — for myself and for the writers who need a little encouragement to keep going.

I get it

I know what it’s like to let fear hold you back. In my 20s and 30s, I rarely shared my writing. I kept my words locked away; afraid they weren’t good enough. But as I approach 50, I realize how much I would’ve missed out on if I had stayed silent.

Writing is more than just putting words on a page — it’s about purpose. It’s about telling the stories that only you can tell. If I’ve learned anything through my journey, it’s that keeping those lessons to myself would be selfish. Writers need other writers. We need encouragement, support, and a reminder that our words matter.

Push through

So, if fear is holding you back, let me help you push through. The world needs to hear your story. Your words have the power to inspire, heal, and change lives — including your own.

Keep writing. Keep showing up. Your story is worth it. 💛
