When learning a new language, I found it really helpful to “immerse” yourself in the language. Forget for once all the grammatical rules or obsessing with finding each word’s equivalent in English. Just surround yourselves with the sound of the language. Listen closely. After a while, you will get the gist of the language.

Of course, learning grammars and spellings are also important. But songs, movies, books, and yes, podcasts! can help you learn language without actually feels like learning. Especially when coupled with a good story. You’re in it for the fascinating stories but then, in the end you also learn French.
