Whilst I was working my way through a particularly tricky email, to go to someone I don’t know personally or professionally, I got stuck. I couldn’t think of the right turn of phrase. You know how it is when you’re trying to find the right words to unlock a particular thought.
When that happens, I sometimes engage in some ; that is, I move away to other things on my to-do list and come back to the tricky task with a clear head a little later.
I started reading through some studies and reports that I’d been meaning to get to, but hadn’t yet had time to read. As I went to my list of things that have been in my ‘to read’ pile for a few days, I came across something that really resonated with me in that moment. In fact, it stopped me in my tracks and made me laugh out loud.
