Have you ever woke up in a slump? felt like a failure? or had too much to do?

If you are like most people, you begin to scroll on your phone through hours of productivity content about how you should create systems, clean your room, and start exercising. The same advice over and over again.

But that doesn’t stop the unrelenting feeling of boredom, lack of direction, and laziness.

I’m not a fan of the crevices of the self-improvement trend that permeate corners of the internet. What started as home workout have now developed into a rigid formula of quotes and habits that expressly promise instant change.

I’ve been privy to such short-term focused trends. Feeling low about my weight or mental state and scrolling through hours of content about how I should get into a growth mindset and workout 6 days a week.

No wonder.

Many YouTube videos and articles imply (or outright state) that these ‘tips’ can help you to improve your life. For some, it can build some great habits. For others, it’s just a repetitive menial cash-grabbing highly trending topic.
